While teaching Elementary School students in a multiage, inclusive, team teaching situation for the over ten years, I found that one of the easiest ways to provide for the individual needs of students is to require a research project on various topics throughout the year. Students of differing abilities can work successfully together as long as appropriate materials are easily available. The Internet suits this purpose very well, and has the added bonus of increasing student interest and enthusiasm. Since so many web sites are not appropriate for intermediate age students, I have tried to provide a general summary of each topic and a links page to age appropriate sites.
